The Prize Poll
The Organizers have announced an impressive total prize pool of $60 million, distributed across different segments:
$30,000,000+ for Game Championships
$20,000,000 for the Club Championship
$7,600,000 for Qualifiers
$1,100,000 for MVP Awards
Game Championships: According to the Esports World Cup Foundation, the prize pool, which is expected to surpass $30 million, will benefit competing teams and athletes across 19 categories.
The Club Championship: In particular, it highlights the performance of esports organizations worldwide, with the most successful receiving a significant share of the prize pool.
The qualifiers and MVPs: The remaining portion of the prize pool will be allocated to qualified teams and outstanding MVPs, totaling approximately $8.7 million.

The brief history

Since 2017, the Saudi Arabian eSports Federation has been organizing several major events, tournaments, and leagues, and in 2022, the first international Gamers8 tournament was launched.
The 2022 Gamers8 event was held in Saudi Arabia from August 18-20 with a prize pool of over $12 million.
The 2023 Gamers8 event was held from August 16 to 20 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the theme The Land of Heroes with a prize pool of $45 million.
The Esports World Cup
The government of Saudi Arabia plans to develop esports by 2030 with its ambitious “Vision 2030” program, and it aims to become the global center for esports events, tournaments, leagues, and esports hub.
In October 2023, the Esports World Cup fund was established to be financed by the Saudi Arabian government, and the Gamers8 event, which had been held since 2022, was rebranded as the Esports World Cup.
