BLAST has confirmed that BLAST Rivals Season Two 2026 will once again be held in Hong Kong, following the successful execution of last year’s event.
The tournament is scheduled to take place November 8–15, 2026, with the final three days hosted at AsiaWorld-Expo. Eight teams will compete for a $1 million prize pool, with $650,000 allocated to team winnings and $350,000 distributed among players.
Participating teams will be selected based on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) as of October 2026.
Last year’s Hong Kong edition received an “M Mark” designation from the Hong Kong government, recognizing the tournament as a major event that “significantly enhances” the city’s international image becoming the reason BLAST Rivals to return to Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, BLAST Rivals Season One 2026 is set to be held earlier in the year in Fort Worth, Texas running from April 29 to May 3, also featuring eight invited teams.
In addition to prize money, the winning team will earn Frequent Flyer Points, which can be redeemed for additional rewards across future BLAST events.
At the previous edition, Team Vitality topped the earnings list with $461,538, followed by Team Spirit with $423,077, and G2 Esports with $230,769.

What is VRS (Valve Regional Standings)?
Valve Regional Standings (VRS) is the official ranking system used by Valve to determine team eligibility and invitations for top-tier Counter-Strike 2 tournaments, including Major-related and partner events.
How VRS Works
Teams earn VRS points by competing in Valve-approved tournaments
Results are weighted based on:
Tournament tier and prestige
Strength of opponents
Match results over time
Rankings are updated regularly to reflect current form
Why VRS Matters
Used to select invited teams for elite events like BLAST Rivals
Determines Major qualification paths
Encourages teams to stay active and competitive throughout the season
For BLAST Rivals 2026
The eight teams will be selected based on the VRS rankings as of October 2026
Only teams within the top global standings at that cutoff will qualify
