s1mple joins BC.Game in Stunning Transfer After Nine Years with NAVI

In one of the most unexpected roster moves of the year, BC.Game has officially signed Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev on a permanent transfer from Natus Vincere, ending the legendary AWPer’s nearly nine-year journey with the Ukrainian esports organization.

The announcement comes just weeks after the conclusion of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, where “s1mple” filled in for FaZe Clan and helped the squad reach the playoffs. Despite speculation that FaZe might retain him, the team ultimately reinstated Helvijs "broky" Saukants, leaving “s1mple”s future open — until now.

“Dobby Is Free”: A New Chapter Begins

In a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), “s1mple” confirmed the move and expressed excitement about his new journey:

“Dobby is free. I just want to play — BC.Game gave me the chance, and they’re serious about building a top-tier team. One wise man said, if you want to comeback on the Tier 1 scene, you need to join a Tier 3 team. I haven’t done anything for 2 years, it’s time to change that.”

The 27-year-old superstar will take over AWPing duties from Tim "nawwk" Jonasson, who was benched in June after a short six-month stint. With BC.Game currently ranked #66 globally, s1mple’s arrival signals the organization’s ambition to climb into elite territory.

s1mple's career with Natus Vincere began in August 2016, when he was signed from Team Liquid. Over nearly a decade, he built one of the most decorated legacies in Counter-Strike history:

  • 17 international trophies, including

    🏆 PGL Major Stockholm 2021

🏆 Intel Grand Slam Season 3

  • 21 MVP medals

  • 3x HLTV #1 Player of the Year (2018, 2021, 2022)

  • Featured in the HLTV Top 20 every year from 2016 to 2023

In October 2023, "s1mple" stepped down from NAVI’s active lineup to focus on personal matters. After brief loan spells with Falcons and a last-minute run with FaZe, the all-time great has now committed to a fresh start.

BC.Game, best known as a crypto casino and sportsbook, has recently expanded into esports with bold moves — and none bolder than signing s1mple. The organization operates under a Curacao gaming license, accepts 100+ cryptocurrencies, and also sponsors a competitive esports team, BC.Game Esports, managed by Kera Media.

With s1mple's signing, BC.Game now have:
